We invite you to an unforgettable day trip by boat that will take us from Biograd to the heart of the Kornati. We will sail from the Zadar channel, around the island of Pašman, and continue past the island of Žut, which is part of the National park Kornati, all the way to the island of Dugi Otok. The Kornati National Park extends over 300 square kilometers and is formed of 140 islands of all sizes, with many rocky cliffs. The highest peak of the archipelago is 235 m high Veli vrh, on the island of Kornat itself. We will then stop at Telašćica National Park, where we can walk to Mir Salt Lake. The more courageous will be able to swim and confirm that its water is actually more salty than the sea and has healing characteristics. There will also be plenty of time for a swim in this beautiful bay, one of the largest natural harbors in the Adriatic. You may also walk up to a viewpoint above 150 m walls, breathtakingly beautiful and intact. A tasty lunch will be served on the boat and throughout the trip there will be all inclusive wines. During the voyage we will learn all about the archipelago, get acquainted with life on the islands, and hear many interesting stories.
The excursion includes: boat trip, lunch (fish or grilled meat), drink (mineral water, wine, juice / unlimited), entrance fee for the National Park Telašćica.
Price: 43 €/person
We invite you to join us on a one-day trip to Zadar and Nin. We will leave from the bus station in Biograd na moru at a convenient time and drive to Nin, the oldest Croatian royal town. The center of the city is an islet which was formed on sand dunes and is connected with the mainland by two bridges. We will see Dolnja and Gornja vrata (Lower and Upper gate), the statue of Prince Branimir, the church of St. Anzelma, the monument of Grgur Ninski, the Roman mosaic, and the boat which is a replica of Condura Croatica, a thousand-year-old Byzantine vessel which sank in these waters. Then we will continue to Zadar where we will dive into the rich history of a three-thousand-year-old city. Zadar is endowed with an ancient heritage, medieval architecture, Romanesque churches and masterpieces of the Renaissance as well as modern architecture. In 2016 the city was declared to be the Best European Destination. We will walk through the city with a local guide. We will visit the Roman Forum, the Church of St. Donat, the cathedral of St. Stošija, the National Square, the Square of Five Wells, the Church of St. Mary, the city walls and the gate, and the Sea organs, known for their cascading coastal form where the motion of the sea is converted to a continuous concert of mystic tones. Very close to the Organ there is the “Greeting to the Sun”, another urban artwork worth seeing: artist has arranged material which reflects the sun’s rays in ever changing patterns as the day progresses. After the tour there is some free time for an independent walk along Kalelarga, Zadar’s longest street, which is mentioned in numerous songs and even has its own anthem.
The excursion includes: transport by van, tolls, parking and city taxes, sightseeing in Nin and Zadar with a local guide
Price: 61 €/person
Note: a trip will be made if there are at least 4 registered passengers.
